DURABLE are delighted to be presented with the European Office Products Award for Marketing Initiative with their 2007 Computer Cleaning Week campaign. The prestigious award ceremony took place in Frankfurt last week.

Kim Woodburn, the face of the Kim & Aggie 'How Clean is your House?' television programme has been selected by DURABLE to launch the Computer Cleaning Week campaign. This celebrity endorsement gave Durable the opportunity to have a renowned personality and authority from the cleaning arena to reinforce the CCW message.

The OPI judges were looking for companies that could demonstrate the effectiveness and success of a specific marketing campaign. DURABLE excelled in this by reaching a potential 26,000,000 readers/listeners in the consumer national and local press. A comment in the Guardian Newspaper in July 2007 read 'Gordon Brown should make Computer cleaning week a national holiday' which shows how far the campaign has come in a short space of time!

Sean Starkey, Managing Director for DURABLE commented "We are delighted that our campaign has been recognised internationally.

Computer cleaning products represent a significant growth opportunity for our customers and the DURABLE Computer Cleaning Week initiative is a key driver towards helping our customers realise this in terms of profitable growth.

The award recognises DURABLE's ability to develop world class marketing initiatives, but also reflects our commitment to the brand and to providing the OP marketplace with innovation".
