John Dale retires, Andreas Schönwälder takes over
DURABLE announces that John Dale, Senior Vice President International Operations will retire on April 30, 2011. He will however continue to support DURABLE as a consultant.
John Dale started his career within DURABLE as Managing Director of DURABLE UK in 1995 and took over the responsibility for the coordination of the DURABLE subsidiaries in 2000. "DURABLE is sad to lose a very hard working, ethical and professional leader of people." commented Horst-Werner Maier-Hunke, President of DURABLE. John Dale has also gained an excellent reputation within the industry which resulted in the OPI Lifetime Achievement Award 2010.

From May 1, 2011 Andreas Schönwälder will take over the responsibility from John Dale as Vice President International Operations. Situated in DURABLE's headquarter in Iserlohn, Andreas Schönwälder has been supporting John Dale as International Customer Operation Manager and was also responsible for corporate customer service and the business in various countries.
John Dale commented this change with the following remarks "It was a difficult decision to leave Durable at a time when the business is such an exciting time in its development. However, I feel the timing is right for me and the company and in Andreas the company has a natural and talented successor."
